We designed these tools to align with our strategy of preventing dating abuse through Awareness, Education, and Advocacy. We hope that they will be helpful in your efforts to prevent dating violence.
If parents, teachers, and teens are not aware of the significance of teen dating violence, they will not understand the importance of educating teens about this problem that affects one in three adolescents.
These videos, video games, banners, and printable resources are intended to increase awareness of teen dating violence.
The warning signs of an abusive relationship are essential to assist young people in recognizing the difference between healthy and unhealthy behaviors in dating relationships.
These printable resources, Power and Control Wheel, and video games all provide helpful educational information that assists in identifying dating abuse through incorporation of these warning signs.
In addition to increasing awareness and providing educational information about teen dating violence, it is critical that there are laws in place which provide teens with better protection from abusers as well as requiring schools to teach young people about teen dating violence.
All of the resources on this page should be helpful for sharing with your local school board, state representative, or congressperson to help them understand the importance of supporting policies that will help protect adolescents from dating violence. Please sign and share our petition to advocate for necessary laws that will provide schools, educators, parents, and teens the support they need.
